Sustainability

Our Commitment to the Environment

We built our supply chain by partnering with vendors who share our principles and commitment to sustainability. We will not rest on our laurels. Instead, we will continue to adapt as technology changes, utilizing renewable energy, reducing waste, and using sustainable shipping materials, with the aspiration to be fully carbon neutral, without using offsets, and avoiding landfill waste.

Our Current Practices

We buy inputs such as cotton and wool from sources as close to our production sites as possible (e.g., Punjab cotton). Our clothes are dyed using heat from biomass-fired boilers.

We measure the full carbon (CO2e) emissions profile of our operations - from cultivating fibers such as cotton or flax to manufacturing and logistics - and purchase offsets for nature-based carbon capture programs resulting in an end-to-end carbon neutral product for our customers.

We ship our products in sustainable shipping materials. In the US, this means 100% recycled poly mailers for larger orders and 100% recycled paper mailers that can be curbside recycled for smaller orders. In Korea, we use Step for Net Zero bioplastics which can be recycled with regular vinyl (비닐유) recycling.

Most importantly, we make products that last. This means less consumption and better value.
